and this is how stupid I am … I watched Season Five and I
seen at the end that he got taken by some Chinese gangsters. He
got taken by Consul Han. If anybody has seen Rush Hour, they know

“Why do the Chinese gangsters take him?” So now I have

I love his take on Thanksgiving: Thanksgiving
is the most confusing holiday because it doesn’t have an actual
date. It’s just a Thursday. It’s “this”

Thursday … so I was like, “Since we don’t really
have a date, I should be able to eat anytime during November.”
So I had mine last Saturday.

Barrett threw me an alley-oop as well: Page 2's ultimate

think "Panama" should be in the Top 10. While on the topic
of Pearlman,
he wrote an article earlier this fall criticizing U-Delaware for
never playing Delaware State... well now they
are matched up in the first round of the I-AA playoffs this
week. He also ran 3:41 at the Philly marathon this past weekend.
And he wrote the John Rocker story a few years back. Good job Pearlman.
And good job to Leah and McDermott, who ran 3:45.
BREAKING NEWS: Don't

Barry
Bonds got busted. I know this is last week's news, but I didn't
really care enough about this story to post any links over the weekend
(Charles
Barkley apparently cared so much he cried). Why did they allow
him to break the HR record? Its not like there is any new evidence
on him that wasn't there a year ago... or maybe there is; I honestly
haven't read any articles on this story, and I had to watch TONS
of Friends repeats instead of Sportscenter while eating dinner last
week because I just didn't want to hear about this anymore... but
while we're on the topic, did anyone see that Marion
Jones passed 160 drug tests? And drug testing is a lot better
in track than is sports like baseball or football (not that it even
exists in football). All I know is that I will be rooting hard for
A-ROD to hit 800 home runs. And thanks
to Warren Buffett, he'll do it in pinstripes.
The only reason I link to this
post on Stephon Marbury is the viewer comments. They are speculating

Luke, Brett, and I traveled up to NYC this weekend to watch the
Olympic Trials. When I get a chance over the next few days I'll
write up a recap of the weekend (which will include an incredible
Flight of the Conchords sighting!). The race and the whole scene
in Central Park were amazing. The race was as exciting as I have
ever seen. The television coverage didn't do justice to Hall's move
at 16 miles... it really blew everyone (including the spectators)
away. Of course, however, the tragic
passing of Ryan Shay really puts everything in perspective.
Everything I had ever learned about him told me he was a great guy
and a tough-as-nails competitor. On a day where USA distance running
took another huge leap forward towards being a major player on the
world stage, we also lost one of our best people, both on the track
and off.

I am really far behind on my celebrity gossip news. I pretty much
only pay attention to celebrity-athletes like A-Rod and Tank Johnson.
So I was definitely surprised to read that Tony Romo dumped Carrie
Underwood... probably due to his 5 INT game against the Bills. But
Carrie has moved on, now
dating Nate from Gossip Girl. Romo is rumored to be going after
Gossip Girl's Julie Cooper character.

Khannouchi
runs 1:05 half marathon Last year he ran like a 24-something
8K and then a few weeks later ran a 2:07 marathon in London, so
its impossible to predict how he will factor into the NYC trials
other than the fact that one way or another, he will be a factor.

Zero's latest blog. With some girl advice: "So I went on
a strike. I think all men should do this when they have a disagreement.
This is Relationship 101. When you have a fight with “the
other,” don’t answer their calls and don’t answer
their pages. That usually gets the point across that you’re
not talking to them. So, I held out for seven days. I went on strike
for seven days and stayed at the gym for seven days. I slept in
the gym. They got nice couches in there and it just kept me in the
gym working on my knee and stuff."
